The auditorium only allows plastic cups and plastic bottles. This policy is in place for safety reasons.

As the lights dim, we request your cooperation in respecting fellow audience members by minimizing noise and movement. Kindly remain seated unless invited to participate by the stage performers.

Should any disruptive behaviour occur during the show, we may kindly ask the individual(s) involved to leave.

Accessibility

The key features of our venue’s accessibility provisions include the restriction of drop-off access outside the main theatre doors exclusively for disabled patrons, with designated parking spaces situated along the front facade of the building. Notably, the venue boasts full flat access from exterior entry points directly into the auditorium, ensuring seamless mobility for individuals with mobility challenges.

Moreover, we offer a spacious disabled toilet and advanced hearing loop facilities to further enhance the overall accessibility and inclusivity of the venue.

How to find us

Our postcode is PL25 4DJ and we are a short 0.7 mile drive from the centre of St Austell. Coming from St Austell town centre follow signs to the railway station and continue along Poltair Road, past Poltair School on to Tregonissey Road. The Keay Theatre is located on the campus of Cornwall College St Austell and is clearly signposted.

Parking is free for the duration of your visit, to those visiting the theatre or coming to a performance.
