Kidz 4 Cornwall is back showcasing rising talent across the county in a music, song and dance extravaganza. Performing at this event are Stagecoach Performing Arts Truro, St Austell Youth Band and Tretherras Samba Band.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Truro provides tuition and countless opportunities for young performers. Students have performed at His Majesty’s & Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End, Disneyland Paris, The Nile Song Festival in Cairo Egypt, in UK Tours from Evita, An Inspector Calls to Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, TV and Film including Casualty, The Da Vinci Code, World War Z with Brad Pitt, Rose of Nevada, Poldark, Doc Martin, The Voice and Let it shine. Our young people have featured on numerous albums, videos, released a global single and have access to a Film/TV casting service with worldwide success.

Newquay Tretherras Samba band have been running for many years now and performed recently at the Royal Cornwall Show and the Music for Youth event! We are looking forward to performing again this July at the Keay Theatre as part of the Kidz 4 Cornwall event and will be performing a mixture of traditional and self-composed Samba music! Newquay Tretherras Samba is lead by Zena Walker who teaches drums to many of the students.
